​"The day I lost my horse was the day I thought she had gone forever.... until I picked up my paintbrushes to paint her.  With over 20 years of shared memories, the love, trust, innocence, fun, pride, tears, joy and sheer adventure  of the past spilled out onto canvas to be captured and shared for all time, by everyone". ​

Come on in and join me, this is where we can share some equine adventures.  I really love animals especially horses. I love learning, I love painting, and I love writing the stories that give the power of new beginnings to each artwork.  Mostly I love the freedom to enjoy my second childhood, which happily seems to have resurfaced these past few years.  Life is a beautiful adventure  especially around horses, and I want to capture and share it with you.
I paint from the perspective of the horses emotions. The quest is to capture and share the affinity found in wonderful, unexpected moments of connection, a moment when we realise that we understand one another's language.  Happy memories, experiences or feelings of love captured within an innocent gaze, a life adventure or a  moment of  awesome realisation. "

​These paintings aim to help give a visual voice to  animals whose voices we sometimes cannot hear.  A friendship has been established with equine, animal and wildlife rescue charities.  We are so excited to offer you the opportunity to donate 25% of  the  purchase price of your chosen humanimal painting. ​​How she got here....
By drawing and painting animals as a child.  Graduating as a graphic designer in Glasgow  with a post grad in Graphic Reproduction and later BA Mass Media & Communication. Her long career  in her own graphic Design/ Photography Studio, focused mainly on horses and children.
​Studying horse communication with her own horses, helped her appreciate the total affinity, depth of bond,  trust and truth that exists within this human / horse relationship.  Painting the sensitivity, vulnerability and sympathy of these beautifully powerful  animals the artist reveals the innocent connections that exist. Her Paintings seeks the perfect combination of horses and emotions. She creates to share her equine passion which she does with great joy  from her home studio.

Perhaps for you it was a special moment when you stopped for a split second and you felt the enormity of a connection or realisation.... Those wonderful innocent moments are the ones that drive the artist to paint and share them with you.  She works to capture the lingering essence of an animals soul.  Ultimately tapping into methods of horse communication revealing the wonderful personalities of the horse. All this is to provide you with a window into some innocent adventures.
